a little birthday update:
dancing on friday night was absolutely WONDERFUL. in fact, the whole weekend tops my list of birthdays by far... i wish everyone had been there to enjoy the hospitality and kindheartedness of the regular contra-folk.
thanks boone for being so, so good to me. (and for making me funfetti cupcakes and finding me a bike!)
and to my mom for her perfectly hand calligraphied birthday card...
and thanks to all you sweet friends for the wishes, and to those of you who were my dance partner on friday night, and to esta for the unexpected basketball tickets (in GREAT seats),
to ABC for the pizza date and goodies, to carli for hosting a birthday dinner and being flexible about the plans. plus a big thank you to jon for the delish chocolate pound cake,
and to palmer for these lovely flowers (can you see the thistles? isn't she brilliant?)
it was a truly magical birthday and i didn't deserve it. and i don't deserve my wonderful friends, but i'm sure thankful for them!

Of course you deserve it! And I'm jealous of the funfetti cupcakes...
Oh what a GLORIOUS sounding birthday. I am so glad it was a happy one and that you felt loved and celebrated. I am still dreaming about that pizza from your birthday night by the way.
Mmmmmmmmm.....

excited to celebrate again this weekend!
You went to a Tech game! Mr. Hassler would say you got the best Birthday gift ever. (Ok, I know you weren't cheering for Tech...)
Happy belated Birthday! Looks like you are one well loved girl!
Wow, that sounds amazing! What a lovely birthday, and what lovely friends. Truly great! See, when birthdays are like that, they totally make sense.
